Laboratory Equipment

Analytical Laboratory Instruments

Instruments that detect and measure residues, elements, compounds and antibodies in food, soil, water, plant and biological samples for laboratories across Saudi Arabia.

Analytical Laboratory Instruments

Reliable results from complex samples

Decisions on food safety, the environment and agriculture often rest on a confirmatory measurement from an analytical instrument. Gas chromatographs fitted with FID, TCD, ECD and FPD detectors separate and quantify volatile compounds and pesticide residues. Atomic absorption spectrometers determine metals at trace levels using a flame or a graphite furnace. UV-Vis spectrophotometers cover a broad range of colorimetric methods, microplate readers run ELISA tests for toxins, hormones and diseases, and flame photometers measure potassium, sodium and lithium. Viscometers characterise oils, syrups and solutions. These instruments are in daily use in university, government, food and quality-control laboratories in Saudi Arabia. EnmaTech supplies, installs, calibrates and supports them, trains your analysts, and helps specify complete laboratories.

Residue confirmation

When a rapid test flags a sample, gas chromatography with selective detectors confirms and quantifies the pesticide residues and organic contaminants, giving a sound basis for regulatory decisions on food and feed.

Trace metal analysis

Atomic absorption spectrometry determines lead, cadmium, copper, zinc and other metals in soil, water, plant tissue and food down to the low levels set by regulations.

Immunoassays for toxins and disease

Using commercially available test kits, ELISA microplate readers handle many samples in one run for mycotoxins, drug residues, hormones and markers of animal or plant disease.

Nutrient and element testing

Flame photometers and UV-Vis spectrophotometers give fast results for potassium, sodium and many colorimetric parameters, which makes them everyday workhorses in soil, fertiliser, water and food laboratories.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which gas chromatograph configuration suits our laboratory?

FID covers most organic compounds and TCD measures permanent gases. ECD is highly sensitive to halogenated pesticides, while FPD detects sulphur and phosphorus compounds such as organophosphate pesticides. Residue laboratories usually opt for the multi-detector configuration.

When does atomic absorption need a graphite furnace?

Flame atomic absorption handles metals at moderate concentrations. For trace levels, such as lead and cadmium in food or drinking water, the much lower detection limits of a graphite furnace are required.

How should we prepare the site before installation?

Plan for stable bench space, a reliable and protected power supply, laboratory gases where needed, exhaust for flames and furnaces, and controlled room temperature. EnmaTech goes through these requirements with you before installing the instruments.
