Environmental Monitoring

Water Quality Testing Equipment

Benchtop and portable instruments for drinking water, groundwater, irrigation water, wastewater and aquaculture, covering everything from daily pH checks to nutrient and metal analysis.

Water Quality Testing Equipment

Find out exactly what is in your water

Water quality testing equipment assesses the chemical, physical and microbiological state of water. Photometric analysers handle close to a hundred parameters, among them COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus and total nitrogen, while dedicated testers focus on single heavy metals and compounds. Turbidity meters measure clarity and suspended solids, and field kits culture coliforms and other bacteria at the sampling point. Electrochemical meters cover pH, conductivity, TDS, ions and dissolved oxygen. In Saudi Arabia, where desalinated water, groundwater and treated wastewater all play a growing role, these instruments are used every day by water utilities, environmental authorities, wastewater plants, irrigation operators, aquaculture farms, universities and food factories. EnmaTech supplies, installs and calibrates water testing equipment, trains laboratory staff, provides local support and helps plan complete water laboratories.

Safe drinking water

Regular testing of turbidity, pH, bacteria and key contaminants confirms that treated water remains safe all the way from the plant to the consumer tap.

Wastewater and reuse compliance

COD, nitrogen and phosphorus results show whether treated effluent meets discharge or reuse limits, an essential check before it is used for irrigation or landscaping in Saudi cities and farms.

Suitability of irrigation water

Conductivity, pH and specific ions reveal salinity and toxicity risks in well water and reclaimed water, helping farms protect soil structure and crop yields.

Aquaculture management

Targeted testing of dissolved oxygen, ammonia, nitrite, sulfide and salinity helps fish and shrimp farms keep stock healthy and react quickly when water conditions shift.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the benchtop and portable COD analysers differ?

Both digest samples and measure COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus and total nitrogen. The benchtop model stores more curves and records for busy laboratories, while the portable model runs on battery or vehicle power so testing can be done at the sampling site.

Can bacteria be tested outside the laboratory?

Yes. The portable bacteria kit includes a vacuum filtration set and a culture holder, so samples can be filtered and incubated in the field for total bacteria, E. coli and other indicator organisms.

How often should pH and conductivity meters be calibrated?

Calibrate with fresh standard buffers or solutions at the start of every working day, or more often when accuracy is critical, and record each calibration in the laboratory quality system.
